Joe Tessitore daughter Nicoline Tessitore plays collegiate squash at the University of Virginia.
Nicoline has been playing it since 2013 and was a good player at her high school, Choate Rosemary Hall. She joined the University of Virginia in 2021.
When in high school, she made some records and won some awards. In Girls II Class A New England Prep Championships with Choate in 2019, she finished as a runner-up.
The same year, she also placed seventh place at the West Coast Junior Championship and sixth at the Spector Philadelphia Junior Championship.
With a rank as high as No. 8 in the U-17 national rankings, she was also a recipient of the Choate Athletic Department’s Wallis/Sullivan Award for Greatest Contribution to Athletics in 2018.
After joining the Virginia Squash team, she made a record of 7-1 in her debut season with the Cavaliers and even won three matches at the MASC Championships over Georgetown. She also won her exhibition match with Drexel’s Katerina Cummings at the MASC Championships.
Nicolina could be more active on social media as she has 1400 followers with 28 posts on her Instagram.
However, her father once posted pictures of her with her teammates after winning the first game of the season at the University of Virginia’s Women’s Squash team. He congratulated them for their achievement.
